Hey!
this i probably very confusing for everyone as the conversation on Windows 7 is a fairly hot topic, but I read in a computer magazine that Microsoft have also just begun work on a OS that will eventually replace Windows. I believe it was called Midori. I will post the details later, but so far I am very confused as to why they have begun work on a new OS....
Cheers, Joshy

I know. Why don't they just try and do one thing at a time. That is why most people hate windows, they are never stable, they are always changing.

People also love window's instability, since that allows it to be used in conjunction with so many kinds of hardware and software, which would, otherwise be incompatible.

Hmm. But come on, admit it, though, Microsoft are always doing new things when other things aren't complete. At least with Mac, they have stable versions that are rarely updated because they always have the latest stuff.

I agree with you. But I only stated that Window's instability is quite loved by the general public.
I'll try googling Midori.(I think it's actually Japanese...sounds like it to me)
According to an article in my language(dutch), Midori is kinda a spin-off of this It's meant to be an OS that runs on internet(aka, it's not installed on your computer, but you use it via internet)
Somehow, I get the feeling that freedom is being taken away from us with Midori(if that is true)
And microsoft said this about Midori: “Midori is one of many incubation projects underway at Microsoft. It's simply a matter of being too early in the incubation to talk about it."
And it's said that at the earliest, Midori will be released in 2017. And they still have their hands full with Windows 7 XD. They also have a Wikipedia Article About Midori.
Can't find anything else about it though, it's all the same at least.
